Cornelia Keating
is a vocalist from Ireland. Her singing style incorporates a lifetime love of folk, jazz and the blues. Cornelia started singing in Cork Singers Club with the traditional songs she learned from her mother, since then she has collaborated with a wide range of musicians, and recently started composing her own material; a sidelong look at life from her own unique perspective.
Jon Hicks
is well known in his native England and Ireland for his dynamic and innovative acoustic guitar playing, in this project he has created new DADGAD arrangements in order to accompany Cornelia's re-imagined versions of some wide ranging classics.
he injects an eclectic mix of Irish, Spanish, and jazz influences into his work which has the effect of whisking you in moments from Galway to Gallicia to the ‘gator-infested swamps of Louisiana.
